We have been hearing quite a bit about the Ouya open source gaming console of the last few weeks, it has been up on Kickstarter and yesterday we heard that the Kickstarter project is now closed after the company behind the device managed to raise a massive $8.5 million.
If you didn’t manage to order on on Kickstarter, the device has now gone up for pre-order for $109, and for this you get the console and one controller.
The team behind the Ouya are expecting to start delivering the first of their open source gaming consoles in April of next year, you can find out more information about the device over at the Ouya website.
