Download and Install PhilZ Touch 3 ClockworkMod Recovery for Samsung Galaxy S3

ClockWorkMod Recovery is one of important tools and always use by Android users or developer to install new custom ROM into their Android Phones. ClockWorkMod Recovery allow me to perform  factory reset, wipe cache partition, install zip (custom ROM) Backup and Restore. Chainfire clockworkMod Recovery and Touch workModRecovery is the tools that we have showed you in the previous tutorial on how to use it for flash new custom ROM and kernel.

Here, another new version of  ClockWorkMod Recovery Tool available for download. This new Tool is PhilZ Touch 3 ClockworkMod Recovery that support  touch screen (toggle between 3 touch modes: FULL TOUCH, DOUBLE TAP to validate and SEMI TOUCH) in the ClockWorkMod Recovery Mode. The function is almost same to Chainfire clockworkMod Recovery. Here is the tutorial on how to flash PhilZ Touch 3 ClockworkMod Recovery  into your Galaxy S3:

Note: Flash or modified Galaxy S3 firmware and kernel will void the phone warranty. Method below is only for your reference and only for the international Galaxy S3 GTi9300. Try it on your own risk.

Step 1. You need Samsung Diver to enable your PC able detect and connect to your Galaxy S3. So you can Download Samsung Galaxy Driver (Link) or Download and install Samsung Kies on your PC. Restart your PC after installation complete.

Step 2. Download (Link) PhilZ Touch 3 ClockworkMod Recovery (philz_touch_3.43-i9300.tar.md5 ).

Step 3. Go Setting >Developers option to enable USB Debugging on your Galaxy S3 and then Power off your  Galaxy Note S3.

Step 4. Press your Galaxy volume Down+ Power Button + Home Button to enter Downloading Mode.

Step 5.  Open Odin (download Link) on PC, then connect your Note 2 Galaxy S3 to PC via USB connect USB.

Step 6.  Make sure Odin Detect your Galaxy Note 2 Galaxy S3 (How to know).

Step 7.  Press Odin PDA, then select the  downloaded firmware (philz_touch_3.43-i9300.tar.md5 ).

Step 8. Now click Odin Start button  to Flash the firmware into your galaxy S3. Don’t unplug Galaxy S3 connection from computer during the process flashing philz_touch_3.43-i9300.tar.md5.

Step 9. That all! Your Phone will reboot once the firmware complete flash into your Samsung Galaxy S3.
