Download Latest Version of ClockworkMod Touch Recovery (6.0.1.2) For Galaxy S3

In my last post, i have shared with you on how to use ClockworkMod (CWM) Recovery and ClockworkMod Touch Recovery to backup and flash Custom Rom into Samsung Galaxy S3.  Power Off your Galaxy s3, then hold press the Home Button + Volume Up Button + PowerButton. Then in the Recovery Mode, you only need to select which the task that you need for y0ur Galaxy S3.

Basically ClockworkMod  Recovery and ClockworkMod Touch Recovery is same. Only different is ClockworkMod Touch Recovery support touch control. I mean that at the ClockworkMod  Recovery Mode, you not only can select the  function by using the volume (Up or Down) and power button to choose, but also can direct touch on the screen to select the function that you want to perform. The previous version of ClockworkMod Touch Recovery, only support flash ROM (zip file) from Galaxy S3 internal storage and also cant fully perform backup or restore function.

Thanks to XDA member-msSkip,  new version of  was releases and available download for free. Updated CWM touch, version 6.0.1.2 now supports External SD Card for installing zips and also backup or restore functions. Here is tutorial on how to flash the latest ClockworkMod Touch Recovery into Galaxy S3 GTi9300 via Odin:

Note : ClockworkMod Touch Recovery only compatible to for Samsung Galaxy S3 GSM Edition.

Step 1: Download recovery-cwm-touch-6.0.1.2-i9300.tar file from your PC computer.

Step 2: Set your phones into USB debugging mode: Settings -> Applications -> Development -> USB debugging. Then turn off your phones.

Step 3: Turn your phones into download mode by  pressing and holding Volume Down + Home + Power simultaneously. (What is Download Mode?)

Step 4: Download Samsung Odin (Download Link)Start ODIN on PC.

Odin only compatible to Windows OS PC. If you are using MAC OS X or Linux OS, then you may consider to use Mobile Odin Pro to flash ClockworkMod Touch Recovery directly from your Galaxy S3 phone

Step 5: Connect the device to your computer using USB.

Step 6: Wait a few seconds, the ODIN screen will show that a device is now connected- ID:COM boxes.

- If ODIN not detect your device, then you can refer here on how to solve it.

Step 7: Click the PDA button, then select “ recovery-cwm-touch-6.0.1.2-i9300.tar”.

Step 8: On Odin, click Start Button. The process flash recovery-cwm-touch-6.0.1.2-i9300.tar into your Galaxy S3 is start now, don’t unplug the USB cable from your phone.

Step 9: Odin Green “PASS” message will show you that the recovery-cwm-touch-6.0.1.2-i9300.tar is success and completely flash into  your Galaxy S3. Your Galaxy S3 will reboot now.
