Microsoft has today revealed prices for their new Office 2013 and
Office 365 software suites, however an official launch date has still
yet to be announced.
Microsoft’s Office 365 Home Premium will cost users $99 per year, providing them with 20GB of SkyDrive storage, together with 60 minutes of Skype calls per month. With access to your documents being available from unto five computers.
There is also a Small Business version of Office 365 is available at $149 per user (1-10 employees) offering 25GB Outlook storage, an organisation-wide 10GB cloud drive plus 500MB for each Office 365 user.
As for Microsoft Office 2013 pricing the Home and Student versions which will include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote will be available for $139, whilst the Home and Business versions with Outlook included will be priced at $219.
The flagship Microsoft Office Professional package with Access and Publishers added will cost $399 at the time of launch. However if you can’t wait until Microsoft launches the new software suites, if you purchase either Office 2010 or Office 2011 for Mac after October 19th, will provide you with a free upgrade to Office 2013 or one year of Office 365 free.
