iPad HD Coming This Fall

By
We have been hearing rumors that Apple will launch an iPad 3 later on in the year, there is just one problem with this, they only just recently launched the iPad 2, so the iPad 3 would need to be different in terms of both its name and who it has been designed for, so that Apple can sell it alongside the existing iPad 2.
I mentioned back in June that if Apple did launch the iPad 3, they would probably call it the iPad HD and that it would feature a higher resolution display than the existing iPad 2, and now there is a report from This Is My Next, that Apple will be launching the iPad HD this fall.

We have heard rumors of a higher resolution iPad for quite some time, and now according to the recent report, the iPad HD will feature a HD display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels.

Apple will apparently target the iPad HD at the higher end of the market and it will be designed to be a ‘pro’ device, which would mean that they could sell it alongside the iPad 2 as it would be aimed at a different customer base than the iPad 2, although we suspect many iPad and iPad 2 owners would want to purchase a HD version of the iPad.
